A BioRender-class editor (library, canvas, properties, templates) with the assistant as a first-class panel. Each direction is a full identity: name, mark, palette, type and UI. None reuse BioRender's blues or chrome, or Biosmith's off-white, terracotta and Fraunces.
A figure-maker's workshop. Calm floating chrome on a cool neutral canvas, deep spruce for actions and one hit of chartreuse that only ever means "AI". The mark is a cell being drawn, the gap in the membrane where the nib is.

Collision: an MIT-licensed open-source Figma MCP server called "figwright" (GitHub awdr74100, first release June 2026) lets AI agents draw on a Figma canvas. Not a trademark as far as I found, but it's the same name in AI-plus-canvas software. Moderate risk.
Library left, floating canvas with a contextual bar, properties above the assistant on the right. Replies list every element added with Keep, Undo all and Show diff.
Open Figwright mockupSnapGene discipline for figures. Menu bar, dense docked panels, black text, mono numbers, rulers at mm scale and a command-line assistant whose every turn is a checkbox diff. Raspberry is the only colour in the chrome. The mark is a cell with three receptors.

Web search for "Cytoglyph" returns no product, company or paper using the name. Cleanest of the three.
Icon rail, list library, ruled canvas, inspector with geometry, domains and a figure check. The assistant docks under the canvas like a console, with the change set beside it.
Open Cytoglyph mockupDescribe it, then tune it. A full-width prompt bar under the canvas and an assistant column whose replies come back as live result cards (swap 4-1BB for CD28 from a dropdown, step CD19 copies). Ink and saffron, like a pencil and a highlighter. The mark is one sketched stroke closing into a cell.

No product found under the name. Search engines autocorrect it to "cytoskeleton", which is a nice pun but costs some findability early on.
Tile library with a templates section, canvas with a contextual properties strip and a describe-your-figure bar, assistant column with editable results and next-step suggestions.
Open Cytosketch mockupCytoglyph has the cleanest name and fits the SnapGene-style tool you actually want to use every day. Cytosketch has the strongest AI story and the most ownable look. Figwright is the most elegant, but someone already has the name in AI-canvas software. My pick: the Cytoglyph name and discipline, with C's live result cards in the assistant. Run a UKIPO/EUIPO class 9/42 search before buying anything.
